In brief, you should know the following about us: Jocoluro Orchard was established early in 2007 to provide freshest possible produce grown without the use of chemical herbicides and pesticides.
Our philosophy is to concentrate our product lines on the slightly unusual -"heirloom" vegetables as an example with the emphasis on recreating the taste of yesteryear.
To achieve this only the finest organic seeds are used. We complement the raising of our plants with the invaluable services of our livestock -chickens, geese, Highland Cattle, Alpaca's which form the frontline our defense against unfriendly insects and unwanted plants.
Our fresh eggs are free range( our chickens have the run of 6 hectares of orchard, where they feed on the finest organically grown grass, fruit and vegetables We are one of the few producers that use only BFA certified organic supplementary feeds.) and have become very popular with our customers.
Our regular customers particularly value the friendly service at our Orchard shop and the relaxed atmosphere being close to nature creates. We welcome visitors and you may even get the chance to feed the chooks or pat an alpaca!
